I'm in the process of switching servers and updating both Movable Type and Gallery, so don't be alarmed if things look a little different around here for a while.

Updated (5/15/07): Everything should be up and running now. I shifted everything over from the old server (which I think of as my original host even though my plan was sold to a series of companies over the years) to the box at dreamhost where I have Scorpion Bombs hosted (which has over 200GB of disk space allowance). I took the opportunity to upgrade both Movable Type and Gallery (to version 3 and 2 respectively), and that required quite a kerfuffle. Just as they have become more robust content platforms they have become markedly more complicated, but I think I finally have a handle on them - at least to the extent that they appear to be doing what I demand (check out the new Random Image feature to the right, which presented a whole kerfuffle all its own).

So the Gallery should be up and running (address remains the same), with almost all of the old albums intact (I had problems with one album from the King's days) and a couple of new sets already available. I still have a few more to upload, so stay tuned for updates in the next couple of days. I believe comments are now enabled (John), so feel free to express your admiration for my photographic skills. The major benefit of the server migration is that I will now be uploading larger versions of all new photos, for anyone who has want or need of a higher resolution copy. So have a look around the new Gallery, it has some fun features.

The blog is probably not in its final configuration yet - I'm not sure I'm completely happy with the layout, which is based on one of the publicly available styles. For the time being, however, it should serve my nefarious purposes adequately...
