Practicing text wraps, using a funny image Lisl and I cooked up the other day (based on this original). Yesterday was a day for Thucydides. We walked along Sunset Blvd and hit up the lunch buffet at the newly madeover Shakey's (hella pizza yo), and spent almost three hours there reading about the Sicilian Expedition. Then, after stopping in at Home Depot for a new toilet seat, and to chat to a nice Canadian dude about load-bearing drywall toggles, we decided to press on down Sunset all the way to the Cat and Fiddle. There we continued enjoying the misadventures of Demosthenes et al., whilst sipping Strongbow, Jameson, and a Black and Tan. Yum. No Morrissey this time, though. Later that evening, I would engage in perhaps my most enjoyable Live match of Command and Conquer 3 yet (I got hit by both the Nod and GDI superweapons at the same time, and survived to win the match!), and encounter a young man making very interesting use of his Live Vision Camera...

That's quite a walk!
Next time you end up at the cat and fiddle give us a ring if you want some Jameson drinking company! We are all of 2 blocks from it...
