It's been a while, but I finally found a moment while catching up on Prison Break to give you all a quick update, and share a couple of nifty RAZR photos. We finished up a busy moving season last week by helping Christine move into the plush apartment she is to share with her sister. While industrious folks like Devon got right to fixing up the living room...

A couple of weeks back, I got to meet the inimitable James Ellroy at Skylight Books, where he was making an appearance to promote the movie adaptation of his book The Black Dahlia. I read the book shortly upon arriving in this wonderful, mixed up city, so it was interesting to find out more about whence it came. If you ever get the chance to hear him speak, I heartily recommend you exercise the opportunity. He's a character. The movie itself turned out to be a mixed bag for me - so much of it was perfect, but so much of it was too self-conscious or over the top. Personally, I preferred Hollywoodland.

Are you watching The Venture Bros? If not, you should be. And you should be listening to Lamb Of God's new album, Sacrament. And reading JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and even Scott McCloud's Making Comics, if that kind of thing is your bag. And go see Beerfest, The Protector, and Fearless.
