I walked to the grocery store today, and passed not only the restaurant where Billy comes to the realization that he doesn't like the New Him On Lithium in Six Feet Under Episode 5.2, but also the gas station where Dutch and Claudette found the body in the trunk of the sadist-torture-murderers in The Shield Episode 3.3.
Ah, to be young and in Los Angeles...

There is a Diner in Silver Lake (I think it might be called "Astros.") where Julie and I ate with Paul right after he moved to LA and like a week later we were watching Six Feet Under on DVD and saw that we had been seated at the very same table where David and Nate eat lunch with the Independent Funeral Directors...
