Patriotic! Cowboy hat!

It has become rather difficult to keep this up to date in the last few weeks, due to the intermittent CGI problems ever since my hosting company got bought out. I'm basically frozen out of the update script for the majority of the time. Which is a shame, because I feel like I had a lot to talk about (especially Comic-Con!). First things first though: if you haven't already seen the silly trailer to the...documentary (?) I made on July 4th, then it is here.

I attended Comic-Con for all 4 and a half days and returned with 3 and a half hours of raw footage (most of which is Bruce Campbell being funny). The whole Con was amazing, though extremely debilitating. The constant walking and carrying of goodies combined with near continuous visual stimulation left me exhausted both physically and mentally. I discovered muscles I didn't know I had through their complaining. I spent 5 hours in Hall H on Saturday to see most of the movie previews, catching distant views of Charlize Theron, Kevin Smith, the cast of Firefly (oh, Inara...), Kate Beckinsale and Eva Mendes. I got to meet Kane, Thomas Jane and Amber Benson.

Me with Amber Benson (Tara from Buffy)

I also got to meet numerous comic creators as well (including Brandon Peterson, Frank Cho, Tim Bradstreet, Joe Quesada, Brian K. Vaughn and Jim Mahfood), and webcomic mavens such as Scott Kurtz and the Penny Arcade guys. I did and saw so much more, but you will have to wait for another day (or for the DVD!) to hear of such things.

Meanwhile, here's something to keep you entertained until I can post again:

Mmmm...Nancy...
