Last night I went to the Dodgers game with Del, Phil, Steve, Karen and Mike. They were sold out of the super cheap tickets, but the upshot was we ended up with pretty good seats. We supped on over-priced beer and disturbingly long Dodger dogs (ah, the great American pastime). Of course, the Dodgers ended up losing to the Reds. Just like the other game I saw this summer, the pitcher suddenly softened up in the 7th inning and gave the game away. I have now seen three Dodgers games in my life time, and have yet to see them win once. Maybe I should stick with the Braves - I have a much better record with them.

Yesterday morning, authorities found what appears to be the half-eaten remains of a feathered toy under the computer desk in a Hollywood apartment. Every attempt was made to keep the victim in protective custody, but some time in the course of Wednesday night the killer returned to finish the job. This morning I steeled myself and freshened up the litter tray. Presently we are watching The Man Show, in order that the little guy grow up to be a fully enlightened male for the 21st century. And right now he is attacking his own tail. This has been Nibblerwatch.
