Steve wanted to see the attractive limited edition Brodie statuette, which was available at a knock-down price for those of us lucky enough to attend the Mallrats X screening last Wednesday (and where Beau took the photo of myself and Kevin Smith). Ask and ye shall receive:

It was a lot of fun - hella crazy to see Kevin in person, raggin' on anybody who'd make themselves a target. He's a great MC - I guess all those years on the college circuit have really helped him hone his act. The movie still makes me laugh, but it becomes ever more apparent that Jason Lee carries the whole thing. Him and Sven Ole Thorsson, of course. The cast and crew at the Q&A were very cool about staying afterwards for photos and autographs (special props to Lee, who looked to be completely exhausted). Kevin has apparently been mixing it up with fanboys and trolls over at the Rotten Tomatoes forums - it's kind of amusing, I guess. They have a link to the thread on News Askew. They also have MP3s of the radio show he did on Saturday, which I missed. Probably a more worthwhile distraction.
