Tonight I attempted fajitas from scratch. They passed the first test: I didn't go blind. Next time they need more spices, or perhaps just some salt, but they were still pretty good. I didn't have any of the fixings to make 'em more interesting, but my tortillas were nice and warm, thanks to my new microwave!

PsiOps: The Mindgate Conspiracy is a most entertaining game. The psionics engine is great fun. More games should let you smash people against walls using the power of your mind. Plot and character-wise it was a lot like a Metal Gear Solid game (though the cutscenes weren't as protracted), which for me is a good thing. I always loved the idea of a good rogue's gallery.

I don't have much else to report. This week's Syriac assignment is kicking me in the arse. Repeatedly. Some of the stuff is just indecipherable. To me, at least. It just occurs to me that I forgot to do laundry today. I shall have to try to squeeze it in tomorrow night. Or even in the morning, should arise in time (ha!).
