I can't think of a better word to describe it. That we have come so far from that little Star Wars game I used to play as a wee bairn, sitting on my dad's lap in front of our old Tandy PC, is truly a testament to the achievement of our human race. As if engaging in urban guerilla combat against an alien invader (in a level very reminiscent of the defense of Autobot city in Transformers: The Movie) wasn't enough, I have one word for you all: Scarab.
You'll find out.
In other news, I finished Bone: One Volume Tradition which, before today, was itself a pretty staggering human achievement. It's sort of weird to read the entire collection, realising that those 1300-some pages represent 12 years of one man's life, but it was highly entertaining and epic in its own peculiar way. I heartily recommend it, especially now that it is available in one big edition - a very enjoyable way to catch up on such a series. Now on to Good Omens, when I'm not reading about Aeschylan drama and Euripidean closure (which is best done, I have discovered, whilst waiting in line for 3 hours at Blockbuster).
I also include this, just so that is available online for the scant few it may interest. Shlam bkhon!
